Funding Support for CARE’s Open House

ree

Thanks to a £50,000 grant from the Cost of Living Social Investment Programme, CARE has been able to continue running our drop-in service — offering vital support to people facing hardship across Grimsby, Cleethorpes, and Immingham.

The grant, managed by Key Fund, has been funded by Access – the Foundation for Social Investment, Better Society Capital, and Key Fund.

We’re grateful for this support, which has helped cover core staffing and overhead costs. It’s allowed us to remain open at a time when demand for support has continued to rise.

In just the first few months of funding, hundreds of people have turned to CARE’s drop-in for housing advice, fuel and food support, and help navigating difficult life circumstances.

“I don’t feel like I’m fighting on my own anymore. For the first time in years, I feel like someone actually listened.” — Debbie, after receiving support to apply for benefits

We’re proud to work alongside funders who understand the importance of community-led support.
