TOYS FOR JOY AT CHRISTMAS
Every Christmas, CARE's Toys for Joy appeal helps local families experiencing financial hardship to provide gifts for their children. In 2025, with the support of local businesses, community groups and individuals, 993 children received gifts through the appeal.
Families are referred by local professionals, and parents and carers are invited to choose gifts for their own children.
“I really do not know how to thank you. This year has been the worst, things have been really hard. I was dreading it, and this help will really make our Christmas now. A weight has been lifted, it will be a happy time instead of a worrying time.”
