We support individuals and families in crisis to overcome challenges, create lasting change and transform their lives for the better.

For over 30 years, CARE has worked in the heart of Grimsby and Cleethorpes, supporting people through some of the hardest moments of their lives.

We are a local charity providing housing support, crisis intervention, and holistic practical help to anyone struggling with poverty, homelessness, debt, domestic abuse, mental health challenges, and other complex needs.

Many of the people who come to us are at breaking point. Our Crisis Support Team is free and available to all individuals and families in North East Lincolnshire.

The CARE Hub at 86-88 Victoria Street in Grimsby opened as a free community drop-in centre in January 2026.
Designed as a beautiful, safe and welcoming environment, local people come for community, friendship and support, as well as help with housing, crisis, and rebuilding their lives. Some of our visitors and team were honoured to receive a visit from His Majesty The King in June 2026 - royal recognition of CARE’s commitment to the local community and the impact of the work taking place at the Hub.

Everyone is welcome to drop in and visit us at the Hub, or our charity shop in Cleethorpes.

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?

Whatever your problem, we’re here to listen and get the support you need.

SUPPORT US TO SUPPORT OTHERS

We are so grateful for your kind support and generous donations, which help us to reach the most vulnerable in our community, empowering individuals and families in crisis to rebuild their lives and make a lasting difference.

“Without CARE, I don’t think I’d be here. I dipped so low.
I wouldn't have had the strength to face it on my own. Since moving in here,
I've never felt so safe in my whole life.”

HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED

Here are some of the ways you can support us:

“I finally feel like I can breathe again. My son’s doing better, and so am I. I was in a really dark please before CARE stepped in. They helped me in ways I didn’t know I needed.”
